Dark
Angel Mix CD::Live And Awoken
With names like Dark Soho, Infected Mushroom and Etnica, a
full track listing would probably overload the synapses. Which is
the site editor's way of saying that there isn't one !
My first CD production, Live And Awoken
was recorded live at The Awakening in Reading on 22nd June 2001. Once
again Cybertigger were responsible
for the excellent cover.
Please get in touch if you'd like a copy
of this live set!

Recorded in February
2001, it's called Spectrum because
I hope it covers a wide range of the music in the genre and
takes people on a journey at the same time. Certainly it reflects
my love of the music, and shows just what Psychedelic Trance
can do. For me there really is nothing better (even with my
love of Acid Techno and Chill-Out). It moves me, mind, body
and soul...
I have so many people to thank for helping me in so many ways.
Tigger of Cybertigger
for the cover artwork, Nick for the cover design. The artists
for such amazing music, and you for giving me the chance to
play it out. What a wonderful world we live in, with so many
good people in it.
Give me a shout if
you want a copy. Enjoy :-))). |

Faradaic,
from May 2000, is slower than "Invasive", particularly
Psychedelic and Trancey, and I hope reflects my total love for
the genre. I use a lot of German and Israeli tunes which give
it just that type of edge :o). It's a tape to be listened to
from beginning to end - all 90 minutes of it - in one go if
you can, 'cos that's how long the journey is, and I hope I can
guarantee that you'll be well tranced out by the end of it.
There really is some amazing music out there - I'm just so lucky
to have found it.
As always, I've attempted to take the listener on a journey
which ranges from euphoric (Inna?Psy-Trance sorta way) to deep
and dark, and from experimental to good ol' fashioned trad Psy-Trance.
<Aside> Thinking about it, constructing the journey is
one of the main reasons why it takes me so long to make tapes.
It's got loadsa new (for then :)) tracks as well as a few good
olduns, and none of the tracks appeared on any other of my tapes
that I've made generally available (though two of them are now
on Spectrum). Gosh, there's even a white label in there somewhere
;o). |

I made Invasive in November
1999, and it took ages to do. All my friends were clamouring
for a tape, but I wanted it to be right, so I took my time.
It's fast and ranges widely across the genre, but hopefully
still takes people on that journey that's so essential to Trance.
I just love the tracks on it, and still play loads of them in
my live sets. In it I've attempted to showcase the world of
Psychedelic and Driving Trance. From X-Dream to Juno Reactor,
Space Tribe to Electric Universe, and Chakra to Psychogenetic
Soundforce it refects the sounds I adore.
If you want to see a review of "Invasive", have a look at the
one on the Bassdove site. I was chuffed
to bits when I read it :o). Here is my copy
of the review.
As always, if you'd like a copy of any of these tapes, please
contact me ! |
