Torture Garden was for me, not only a great experience into a new and exciting world, but also confirmed that places like these are not all dark and sinister, but are filled with people genuinely minding their own business, and getting on with it. You are free to do as you please, without anyone pushing their ideas or opinions onto you. It wasn't seedy it wasn't dirty it was a good laugh and one that I will definitely be repeating. There was good music and great company. Many of my friends came out of the woodwork of ordinary rave to join me in this experience, some of whom it didn't suit, but most got the general idea and together we all had a lot of fun! I'd like to hope that others will delve into their darker sides and realise that it's not such a scary place, but one of beauty, acceptance and humour. Love, Light and Freedom to be whoever you want to be - *Ting* In the main room Several DJ's played, starting off with big breaky beats from somebody whose name I don't know, and progressing onto the progressive/hard/hi-nrg or whatever it is called from Alan, which plays until the early hours. One of my favourite DJs was there, as a guest, I don't know her name but you can see her in the picture on the right. She has DJ'ed at Torture Garden several times and the music always seems to be that little bit harder when she does, which I particularly like.
